All the widows stood around him, crying and showing him the robes and\nother clothing that Dorcas had made while she was still with them.\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>40<\/b><\/font>\n Peter sent them all out of the room; then he got down on his knees and\nprayed. Turning toward the dead woman, he said, \u201cTabitha, get up.\u201d She\nopened her eyes, and seeing Peter she sat up. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>41<\/b><\/font> He took her by the hand and\nhelped her to her feet. Then he called for the believers, especially the widows,\nand presented her to them alive. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>42<\/b><\/font> This became known all over Joppa, and\nmany people believed in the Lord. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>43<\/b><\/font> Peter stayed in Joppa for some time with\na tanner named Simon.\n<br><br>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sermon from St Andrews Church, Slip End, UK.
