Ask the Lord of the\nharvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>3<\/b><\/font> Go! I am\nsending you out like lambs among wolves. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>4<\/b><\/font> Do not take a purse or bag or\nsandals; and do not greet anyone on the road.\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>5<\/b><\/font>\n \u201cWhen you enter a house, first say, \u2018Peace to this house.\u2019 \n <br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>6<\/b><\/font> If someone who\npromotes peace is there, your peace will rest on them; if not, it will return to\nyou. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>7<\/b><\/font> Stay there, eating and drinking whatever they give you, for the worker\ndeserves his wages. Do not move around from house to house.\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>8<\/b><\/font>\n \u201cWhen you enter a town and are welcomed, eat what is offered to you. \n <br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>9<\/b><\/font> Heal\nthe sick who are there and tell them, \u2018The kingdom of God has come near to\nyou.\u2019 \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>10<\/b><\/font> But when you enter a town and are not welcomed, go into its streets\nand say, \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>11<\/b><\/font> \u2018Even the dust of your town we wipe from our feet as a warning to\nyou. Yet be sure of this: The kingdom of God has come near.\u2019\n<br><br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>16<\/b><\/font>\n \u201cWhoever listens to you listens to me; whoever rejects you rejects me; but\nwhoever rejects me rejects him who sent me.\u201d\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>17<\/b><\/font>\n The seventy-two returned with joy and said, \u201cLord, even the demons submit\nto us in your name.\u201d\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>18<\/b><\/font>\n He replied, \u201cI saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. \n <br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>19<\/b><\/font> I have given you\nauthority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of\nthe enemy; nothing will harm you. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>20<\/b><\/font> However, do not rejoice that the spirits\nsubmit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.\u201d\n<br><br>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sermon from St Andrews Church, Slip End, UK.
