Given by our reader Richard Palmer on Palm Sunday \u2013 29th March 2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/archive.org\/embed\/290326\" width=\"500\" height=\"30\" frameborder=\"0\" webkitallowfullscreen=\"true\" mozallowfullscreen=\"true\" allowfullscreen=\"\"><\/iframe>\n\n\n\n<p>Download Mp3&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/archive.org\/download\/290326\/290326.mp3\">HERE!<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sermon starts at 1:44<\/p>\n\n\n\n<font color=\"red\">Matthew 21 v 1-11\n<br><br> \nJesus Comes to Jerusalem as King<\/font>\n<br><br> \n<font color=\"blue\"><b>1<\/b><\/font> As they approached Jerusalem and came to Bethphage on the Mount of Olives, Jesus sent two disciples, \n<br><br> \n<font color=\"blue\"><b>2<\/b><\/font> saying to them, \u201cGo to the village ahead of you, and at once you will find a donkey tied there, with her colt by her. Untie them and bring them to me. \n<br><br> \n<font color=\"blue\"><b>3<\/b><\/font> If anyone says anything to you, say that the Lord needs them, and he will send them right away.\u201d\n<br><br> \n<font color=\"blue\"><b>4<\/b><\/font> This took place to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet:\n<br><br> \n<font color=\"blue\"><b>5<\/b><\/font> \n\u201cSay to Daughter Zion,<br>\n  &nbsp;&nbsp;  \u2018See, your king comes to you,<br>\ngentle and riding on a donkey,<br>\n  &nbsp;&nbsp;  and on a colt, the foal of a donkey.\u2019\u201d\n<br><br> \n<font color=\"blue\"><b>6<\/b><\/font> The disciples went and did as Jesus had instructed them. \n<br><br> \n<font color=\"blue\"><b>7<\/b><\/font> They brought the donkey and the colt and placed their cloaks on them for Jesus to sit on. \n<br><br> \n<font color=\"blue\"><b>8<\/b><\/font> A very large crowd spread their cloaks on the road, while others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road. \n<br><br> \n<font color=\"blue\"><b>9<\/b><\/font> The crowds that went ahead of him and those that followed shouted,\n<br><br> \n\u201cHosanna to the Son of David!\u201d\n<br>\n\u201cBlessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!\u201d\n<br>\n\u201cHosanna in the highest heaven!\u201d\n<br><br> \n<font color=\"blue\"><b>10<\/b><\/font> When Jesus entered Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred and asked, \u201cWho is this?\u201d\n<br><br> \n<font color=\"blue\"><b>11<\/b><\/font> The crowds answered, \u201cThis is Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth in Galilee.\u201d\n<br><br>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sermon from St Andrews Church, Slip End, UK.
