Given by our future vicar Rev Lindsey Moss for Easter Sunday April 5th 2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/archive.org\/embed\/050426\" width=\"500\" height=\"30\" frameborder=\"0\" webkitallowfullscreen=\"true\" mozallowfullscreen=\"true\" allowfullscreen=\"\"><\/iframe>\n\n\n\n<p>Download Mp3&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/archive.org\/download\/050426\/050426.mp3\">HERE!<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sermon starts at 3:34<\/p>\n\n\n\n<font color=\"red\">Acts 10 v 34-43 <\/font>\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>34<\/b><\/font>\nThen Peter began to speak: \u2018I now realise how true it is that God does\nnot show favouritism \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>35<\/b><\/font> but accepts from every nation the one who fears\nhim and does what is right. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>36<\/b><\/font> You know the message God sent to the\npeople of Israel, announcing the good news of peace through Jesus\nChrist, who is Lord of all. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>37<\/b><\/font> You know what has happened throughout\nthe province of Judea, beginning in Galilee after the baptism that John\npreached \u2013 \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>38<\/b><\/font> how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit\nand power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who\nwere under the power of the devil, because God was with him.\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>39<\/b><\/font>\n\u2018We are witnesses of everything he did in the country of the Jews and\nin Jerusalem. They killed him by hanging him on a cross, \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>40<\/b><\/font> but God\nraised him from the dead on the third day and caused him to be \nseen. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>41<\/b><\/font> He was not seen by all the people, but by witnesses whom God\nhad already chosen \u2013 by us who ate and drank with him after he rose\nfrom the dead. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>42<\/b><\/font> He commanded us to preach to the people and to\ntestify that he is the one whom God appointed as judge of the living and\nthe dead. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>43<\/b><\/font> All the prophets testify about him that everyone who\nbelieves in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.\u2019\n<br><br><br>\n\n<font color=\"red\">Matthew 28 v 1-10 <\/font>\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>1<\/b><\/font>\nAfter the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary\nMagdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb.\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>2<\/b><\/font>\nThere was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down\nfrom heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on\nit. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>3<\/b><\/font> His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as\nsnow. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>4<\/b><\/font> The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became\nlike dead men.\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>5<\/b><\/font>\nThe angel said to the women, \u2018Do not be afraid, for I know that you are\nlooking for Jesus, who was crucified. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>6<\/b><\/font> He is not here; he has risen, just\nas he said. Come and see the place where he lay. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>7<\/b><\/font> Then go quickly and\ntell his disciples: \u201cHe has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you\ninto Galilee. There you will see him.\u201d Now I have told you.\u2019\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>8<\/b><\/font>\nSo the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and\nran to tell his disciples. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>9<\/b><\/font> Suddenly Jesus met them. \u2018Greetings,\u2019 he said.\nThey came to him, clasped his feet and worshipped him. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>10<\/b><\/font> Then Jesus\nsaid to them, \u2018Do not be afraid.
