Given by our reader Richard Palmer on the 5th Sunday of Easter \u2013 April 26th 2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/archive.org\/embed\/260426\" width=\"500\" height=\"30\" frameborder=\"0\" webkitallowfullscreen=\"true\" mozallowfullscreen=\"true\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n\n\n\n<p>Download Mp3\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/archive.org\/download\/260426\/260426.mp3\">HERE!<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sermon starts at 1:35<\/p>\n\n\n\n<font color=\"red\">John 10 v 1-10 \n<br><br>\nThe Good Shepherd and His Sheep<\/font>\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>1<\/b><\/font> \u2018Very truly I tell you Pharisees, anyone who does not enter the sheepfold by\nthe gate, but climbs in by some other way, is a thief and a robber. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>2<\/b><\/font> The one\nwho enters by the gate is the shepherd of the sheep. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>3<\/b><\/font> The gatekeeper opens\nthe gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by\nname and leads them out. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>4<\/b><\/font> When he has brought out all his own, he goes on\nahead of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>5<\/b><\/font> But\nthey will never follow a stranger; in fact, they will run away from him because\nthey do not recognise a stranger\u2019s voice.\u2019 \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>6<\/b><\/font> Jesus used this figure of speech,\nbut the Pharisees did not understand what he was telling them.\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>7<\/b><\/font> Therefore Jesus said again, \u2018Very truly I tell you, I am the gate for the\nsheep. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>8<\/b><\/font> All who have come before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep\nhave not listened to them. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>9<\/b><\/font> I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be\nsaved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>10<\/b><\/font> The thief comes\nonly to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and\nhave it to the full.\n<br><br>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sermon from St Andrews Church, Slip End, UK.
