Can one enter a second time into the mother\u2019s womb\nand be born?\u201d \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>5<\/b><\/font>  Jesus answered, \u201cVery truly, I tell you, no one can enter the\nkingdom of God without being born of water and Spirit. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>6<\/b><\/font>  What is born of the flesh is\nflesh, and what is born of the Spirit is spirit. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>7<\/b><\/font>  Do not be astonished that I said to you,\n\u2018You must be born from above. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>8<\/b><\/font>  The wind blows where it chooses, and you hear the\nsound of it, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with\neveryone who is born of the Spirit.\u201d \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>9<\/b><\/font>  Nicodemus said to him, \u201cHow can these things\nbe?\u201d \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>10<\/b><\/font>  Jesus answered him, \u201cAre you a teacher of Israel, and yet you do not\nunderstand these things?\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>11<\/b><\/font>  \u201cVery truly, I tell you, we speak of what we know and testify to what we have seen;\nyet you do not receive our testimony. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>12<\/b><\/font>  If I have told you about earthly things and\nyou do not believe, how can you believe if I tell you about heavenly things? \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>13<\/b><\/font>  No\none has ascended into heaven except the one who descended from heaven, the\nSon of Man. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>14<\/b><\/font>  And just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the\nSon of Man be lifted up, \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>15<\/b><\/font>  that whoever believes in him may have eternal life.\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>16<\/b><\/font>  \u201cFor God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who\nbelieves in him may not perish but may have eternal life.\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>17<\/b><\/font>  \u201cIndeed, God did not send the Son into the world to condemn the world, but in\norder that the world might be saved through him.\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sermon from St Andrews Church, Slip End, UK.
