Birds of every kind will nest in it; they\nwill find shelter in the shade of its branches. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>24<\/b><\/font>  All the trees of the\nforest will know that I the LORD bring down the tall tree and make the low\ntree grow tall. I dry up the green tree and make the dry tree flourish.<br>\n\u201c\u2018I the LORD have spoken, and I will do it.\u2019\u201d\n<br><br><br>\n\n<font color=\"red\">Second Reading &#8211; Mark 4: 26-34 \n\nThe parable of the growing seed<\/font>\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>26<\/b><\/font>  He also said, \u2018This is what the kingdom of God is like. A man scatters\nseed on the ground. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>27<\/b><\/font>  Night and day, whether he sleeps or gets up, the\nseed sprouts and grows, though he does not know how. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>28<\/b><\/font>  All by itself\nthe soil produces corn \u2013 first the stalk, then the ear, then the full grain in\nthe ear. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>29<\/b><\/font>  As soon as the corn is ripe, he puts the sickle to it, because\nthe harvest has come.\u2019\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"red\">The parable of the mustard seed<\/font><br>\n<font color=\"blue\">30<\/b><\/font>  Again he said, \u2018What shall we say the kingdom of God is like, or what\nparable shall we use to describe it? \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>31<\/b><\/font>  It is like a mustard seed, which is\nthe smallest of all seeds on earth. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>32<\/b><\/font>  Yet when planted, it grows and\nbecomes the largest of all garden plants, with such big branches that the\nbirds can perch in its shade.\u2019\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>33<\/b><\/font>  With many similar parables Jesus spoke the word to them, as much as\nthey could understand. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>34<\/b><\/font>  He did not say anything to them without using\na parable.
