Come; buy wine and milk without money and without cost. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>2<\/b><\/font> Why\nspend money on what is not bread, and your labour on what does not satisfy?\nListen, listen to me, and eat what is good, and you will delight in the richest of fare.\n<br><br>\n\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>3<\/b><\/font> Give ear and come to me; listen, that you may live. Let them turn to the Lord, and\nhe will have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will freely pardon. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>8<\/b><\/font> \u201cFor my\nthoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,\u201d declares the Lord.\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>9<\/b><\/font> \u201cAs the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways\nand my thoughts than your thoughts. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>10<\/b><\/font> As the rain and the snow come down from\nheaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and\nflourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>11<\/b><\/font> so is my word\nthat goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what\nI desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>12<\/b><\/font> You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst\ninto song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands.\n<br><br><br>\n\n<font color=\"red\">Mark 14.32\u201352 (Sue Lyons)<\/font>\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>32<\/b><\/font> They went to a place called Gethsemane; and he said to his disciples, \u201cSit here\nwhile I pray.\u201d \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>33<\/b><\/font> He took with him Peter and James and John, and began to be\ndistressed and agitated. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>34<\/b><\/font> And he said to them, \u201cI am deeply grieved, even to death;\nremain here, and keep awake.\u201d \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>35<\/b><\/font> And going a little farther, he threw himself on the\nground and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass from him. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>36<\/b><\/font> He said,\n\u201cAbba, Father, for you all things are possible; remove this cup from me; yet, not\nwhat I want, but what you want.\u201d \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>37<\/b><\/font> He came and found them sleeping; and he said\nto Peter, \u201cSimon, are you asleep? Could you not keep awake one hour? \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>38<\/b><\/font> Keep\nawake and pray that you may not come into the time of trial; the spirit indeed is\nwilling, but the flesh is weak.\u201d \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>39<\/b><\/font> And again he went away and prayed, saying the\nsame words. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>40<\/b><\/font> And once more he came and found them sleeping, for their eyes\nwere very heavy; and they did not know what to say to him. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>41<\/b><\/font> He came a third time\nand said to them, \u201cAre you still sleeping and taking your rest? Enough! The hour has\ncome; the Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of sinners. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>42<\/b><\/font> Get up, let us be\ngoing. See, my betrayer is at hand.\u201d\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>43<\/b><\/font> Immediately, while he was still speaking, Judas, one of the twelve, arrived; and\nwith him there was a crowd with swords and clubs, from the chief priests, the\nscribes, and the elders. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>44<\/b><\/font> Now the betrayer had given them a sign, saying, \u201cThe one\nI will kiss is the man; arrest him and lead him away under guard.\u201d \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>45<\/b><\/font> So when he\ncame, he went up to him at once and said, \u201cRabbi!\u201d and kissed him. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>46<\/b><\/font> Then they laid\nhands on him and arrested him. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>47<\/b><\/font> But one of those who stood near drew his sword\nand struck the slave of the high priest, cutting off his ear. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>48<\/b><\/font> Then Jesus said to them,\n\u201cHave you come out with swords and clubs to arrest me as though I were a\nbandit? \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>49<\/b><\/font> Day after day I was with you in the temple teaching, and you did not arrest\nme. But let the scriptures be fulfilled.\u201d \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>50<\/b><\/font> All of them deserted him and fled.\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>51<\/b><\/font> A certain young man was following him, wearing nothing but a linen cloth.
