The former things will not be\nremembered, nor will they come to mind. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\">18<\/b><\/font> But be glad and rejoice forever in what I\nwill create, for I will create Jerusalem to be a delight and its people a joy. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\">19<\/b><\/font> I will\nrejoice over Jerusalem and take delight in my people; the sound of weeping and of\ncrying will be heard in it no more.\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\">20<\/b><\/font> \u201cNever again will there be in it an infant who lives but a few days, or an old man\nwho does not live out his years; the one who dies at a hundred will be thought a\nmere child; the one who fails to reach a hundred will be considered accursed.\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\">21<\/b><\/font> They will build houses and dwell in them; they will plant vineyards and eat their\nfruit. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\">22<\/b><\/font> No longer will they build houses and others live in them, or plant and others\neat. For as the days of a tree, so will be the days of my people; my chosen ones will\nlong enjoy the work of their hands. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\">23<\/b><\/font> They will not labour in vain, nor will they bear\nchildren doomed to misfortune; for they will be a people blessed by the Lord, they\nand their descendants with them.\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\">24<\/b><\/font> Before they call I will answer; while they are still speaking I will hear. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\">25<\/b><\/font> The wolf\nand the lamb will feed together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox, and dust will\nbe the serpent\u2019s food. They will neither harm nor destroy on all my holy mountain,\u201d\nsays the Lord.\n<br><br><br>\n\n\n<font color=\"red\">Mark 9:30-50<\/font>\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\">30<\/b><\/font> They left that place and passed through Galilee. Jesus did not want anyone to\nknow where they were, \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\">31<\/b><\/font> because he was teaching his disciples. He said to\nthem, \u201cThe Son of Man is going to be delivered into the hands of men. They will kill\nhim, and after three days he will rise.\u201d \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\">32<\/b><\/font> But they did not understand what he\nmeant and were afraid to ask him about it.\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\">33<\/b><\/font> They came to Capernaum. When he was in the house, he asked them, \u201cWhat\nwere you arguing about on the road?\u201d \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\">34<\/b><\/font> But they kept quiet because on the way\nthey had argued about who was the greatest. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\">35<\/b><\/font> Sitting down, Jesus called the\nTwelve and said, \u201cAnyone who wants to be first must be the very last, and the\nservant of all.\u201d \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\">36<\/b><\/font> He took a little child whom he placed among them. Taking the child\nin his arms, he said to them, \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\">37<\/b><\/font> \u201cWhoever welcomes one of these little children in my\nname welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me but the one\nwho sent me.\u201d\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"red\">Whoever Is Not Against Us Is for Us<\/font><br>\n<font color=\"blue\">38<\/b><\/font> \u201cTeacher,\u201d said John, \u201cwe saw someone driving out demons in your name and we\ntold him to stop, because he was not one of us.\u201d \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\">39<\/b><\/font> \u201cDo not stop him,\u201d Jesus\nsaid. \u201cFor no one who does a miracle in my name can in the next moment say\nanything bad about me, \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\">40<\/b><\/font> for whoever is not against us is for us. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\">41<\/b><\/font> Truly I tell you,\nanyone who gives you a cup of water in my name because you belong to the\nMessiah will certainly not lose their reward.\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"red\">Causing to Stumble<\/font><br>\n<font color=\"blue\">42<\/b><\/font> \u201cIf anyone causes one of these little ones\u2014those who believe in me\u2014to\nstumble, it would be better for them if a large millstone were hung around their neck\nand they were thrown into the sea. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\">43<\/b><\/font> If your hand causes you to stumble, cut it off. It\nis better for you to enter life maimed than with two hands to go into hell, where the\nfire never goes out. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\">[44] 45<\/b><\/font> And if your foot causes you to stumble, cut it off. It is better\nfor you to enter life crippled than to have two feet and be thrown into hell. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\">[46] 47<\/b><\/font> And\nif your eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out. It is better for you to enter the\nkingdom of God with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into\nhell, \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\">48<\/b><\/font> where \u201c\u2018the worms that eat them do not die, and the fire is not quenched.\u2019\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\">49<\/b><\/font> Everyone will be salted with fire. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\">50<\/b><\/font> \u201cSalt is good, but if it loses its saltiness, how\ncan you make it salty again?
