This sermon is called \u2018Time To Speak\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/archive.org\/embed\/250721\" width=\"500\" height=\"30\" frameborder=\"0\" webkitallowfullscreen=\"true\" mozallowfullscreen=\"true\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n\n\n\n<p>Sermon starts at 4:00<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Download Mp3\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/archive.org\/download\/250721\/250721.mp3\">HERE!<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<font color=\"red\">Isaiah 49:1-6<\/font>\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>1<\/b><\/font>  Listen to me, you islands; hear this, you distant nations: Before I was born the Lord\ncalled me; from my mother\u2019s womb he has spoken my name. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>2<\/b><\/font>  He made my mouth\nlike a sharpened sword, in the shadow of his hand he hid me; he made me into a\npolished arrow and concealed me in his quiver. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>3<\/b><\/font>  He said to me, \u201cYou are my\nservant, Israel, in whom I will display my splendour.\u201d \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>4<\/b><\/font>  But I said, \u201cI have laboured in\nvain; I have spent my strength for nothing at all. Yet what is due me is in the Lord\u2019s\nhand, and my reward is with my God.\u201d\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>5<\/b><\/font>  And now the Lord says\u2014he who formed me in the womb to be his servant to bring\nJacob back to him and gather Israel to himself, for I am honoured in the eyes of\nthe Lord and my God has been my strength\u2014\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>6<\/b><\/font>  he says: \u201cIt is too small a thing for\nyou to be my servant to restore the tribes of Jacob and bring back those of Israel I\nhave kept. I will also make you a light for the Gentiles, that my salvation may reach\nto the ends of the earth.\u201d\n<br><br><br>\n\n<font color=\"red\">Mark 13:1-13<\/font>\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>1<\/b><\/font>  As Jesus was leaving the temple, one of his disciples said to him, \u201cLook, Teacher!\nWhat massive stones! What magnificent buildings!\u201d \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>2<\/b><\/font>  \u201cDo you see all these great\nbuildings?\u201d replied Jesus. \u201cNot one stone here will be left on another; everyone will\nbe thrown down.\u201d\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>3<\/b><\/font>  As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives opposite the temple, Peter, James,\nJohn and Andrew asked him privately, \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>4<\/b><\/font>  \u201cTell us, when will these things happen?\nAnd what will be the sign that they are all about to be fulfilled?\u201d \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>5<\/b><\/font>  Jesus said to\nthem: \u201cWatch out that no one deceives you. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>6<\/b><\/font>  Many will come in my name, claiming,\n\u2018I am he,\u2019 and will deceive many. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>7<\/b><\/font>  When you hear of wars and rumours of wars, do\nnot be alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>8<\/b><\/font>  Nation will\nrise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in\nvarious places, and famines. These are the beginning of birth pains.\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>9<\/b><\/font>  \u201cYou must be on your guard. You will be handed over to the local councils and\nflogged in the synagogues. On account of me you will stand before governors and\nkings as witnesses to them. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>10<\/b><\/font>  And the gospel must first be preached to all nations\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>11<\/b><\/font>  Whenever you are arrested and brought to trial, do not worry beforehand about\nwhat to say. Just say whatever is given you at the time, for it is not you speaking,\nbut the Holy Spirit. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>12<\/b><\/font>  \u201cBrother will betray brother to death, and a father his child.\nChildren will rebel against their parents and have them put to death. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>13<\/b><\/font>  Everyone will\nhate you because of me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sermon from St Andrews Church, Slip End, UK.
