This  sermon is called \u2018Pressing On\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/archive.org\/embed\/010821_202108\" webkitallowfullscreen=\"true\" mozallowfullscreen=\"true\" allowfullscreen=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"30\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe>\n\n\n\n<p>Sermon starts at 3:37<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Download Mp3\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/archive.org\/download\/010821_202108\/010821.mp3\">HERE!<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<font color=\"red\">Isaiah 42.1\u20139 <\/font>\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>1<\/b><\/font>  \u201cHere is my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen one in whom I delight; I will put \nmy Spirit on him, and he will bring justice to the nations. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>2<\/b><\/font>  He will not shout or cry \nout, or raise his voice in the streets. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>3<\/b><\/font>  A bruised reed he will not break, and a \nsmouldering wick he will not snuff out. In faithfulness he will bring forth justice; \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>4<\/b><\/font>  he \nwill not falter or be discouraged till he establishes justice on earth. In his \nteaching the islands will put their hope.\u201d \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>5<\/b><\/font>  This is what God the Lord says\u2014the Creator of the heavens, who stretches them \nout, who spreads out the earth with all that springs from it, who gives breath to its \npeople, and life to those who walk on it: \n <br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>6<\/b><\/font>  \u201cI, the Lord, have called you in righteousness; I will take hold of your hand. I will \nkeep you and will make you to be a covenant for the people and a light for the \nGentiles, \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>7<\/b><\/font>  to open eyes that are blind, to free captives from prison and to release \nfrom the dungeon those who sit in darkness. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>8<\/b><\/font>  \u201cI am the Lord; that is my name! I will not yield my glory to another or my praise to \nidols. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>9<\/b><\/font>  See, the former things have taken place, and new things I declare; before \nthey spring into being I announce them to you.\u201d  \n<br><br><br>\n\n<font color=\"red\">Mark 6.1\u20136 <\/font>\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>1<\/b><\/font> Jesus left there and went to his hometown, accompanied by his disciples. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>2<\/b><\/font>  When \nthe Sabbath came, he began to teach in the synagogue, and many who heard him \nwere amazed. \n\u201cWhere did this man get these things?\u201d they asked. \u201cWhat\u2019s this wisdom that has \nbeen given him? What are these remarkable miracles he is performing? \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>3<\/b><\/font>  Isn\u2019t this \nthe carpenter? Isn\u2019t this Mary\u2019s son and the brother of James, Joseph, Judas and \nSimon? Aren\u2019t his sisters here with us?\u201d And they took offense at him. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>4<\/b><\/font>  Jesus said to them, \u201cA prophet is not without honour except in his own town, \namong his relatives and in his own home.\u201d \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>5<\/b><\/font>  He could not do any miracles there, \nexcept lay his hands on a few sick people and heal them. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>6<\/b><\/font>  He was amazed at their \nlack of faith.\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sermon from St Andrews Church, Slip End, UK.
