Is my father still living?\u2019 But his\nbrothers were not able to answer him, because they were terrified at his\npresence.\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>4<\/b><\/font>  Then Joseph said to his brothers, \u2018Come close to me.\u2019 When they had done\nso, he said, \u2018I am your brother Joseph, the one you sold into Egypt! \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>5<\/b><\/font>  And now,\ndo not be distressed and do not be angry with yourselves for selling me here,\nbecause it was to save lives that God sent me ahead of you. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>6<\/b><\/font>  For two years\nnow there has been famine in the land, and for the next five years there will be\nno ploughing and reaping. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>7<\/b><\/font>  But God sent me ahead of you to preserve for you\na remnant on earth and to save your lives by a great deliverance.\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>8<\/b><\/font>  \u2018So then, it was not you who sent me here, but God. He made me father to\nPharaoh, lord of his entire household and ruler of all Egypt. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>9<\/b><\/font>  Now hurry back\nto my father and say to him, \u201cThis is what your son Joseph says: God has\nmade me lord of all Egypt. Come down to me; don\u2019t delay. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>10<\/b><\/font>  You shall live in\nthe region of Goshen and be near me \u2013 you, your children and grandchildren,\nyour flocks and herds, and all you have. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>11<\/b><\/font>  I will provide for you there, because\nfive years of famine are still to come. Otherwise you and your household and\nall who belong to you will become destitute.\u201d\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>15<\/b><\/font>  And he kissed all his brothers and wept over them. Afterwards his brothers\ntalked with him.\n<br><br><br>\n\n<font color=\"red\">Second Reading: Luke 8 v 22-25\n<br><br>\nJesus calms the storm<\/font>\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>22<\/b><\/font>  One day Jesus said to his disciples, \u2018Let us go over to the other side of the\nlake.\u2019 So they got into a boat and set out. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>23<\/b><\/font>  As they sailed, he fell asleep. A\nsquall came down on the lake, so that the boat was being swamped, and they\nwere in great danger.\n<br><br>\n\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>24<\/b><\/font>  The disciples went and woke him, saying, \u2018Master, Master, we\u2019re going to\ndrown!\u2019\nHe got up and rebuked the wind and the raging waters; the storm subsided,\nand all was calm. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>25<\/b><\/font>  \u2018Where is your faith?\u2019 he asked his disciples.\n<br>\nIn fear and amazement they asked one another, \u2018Who is this?
