Provide purses for\nyourselves that will not wear out, a treasure in heaven that will never fail, where no\nthief comes near and no moth destroys. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>34<\/b><\/font> For where your treasure is, there your\nheart will be also.\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>35<\/b><\/font>\n\u201cBe dressed ready for service and keep your lamps burning, \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>36<\/b><\/font> like servants\nwaiting for their master to return from a wedding banquet, so that when he comes\nand knocks they can immediately open the door for him. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>37<\/b><\/font> It will be good for those\nservants whose master finds them watching when he comes. Truly I tell you, he will\ndress himself to serve, will have them recline at the table and will come and wait on\nthem. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>38<\/b><\/font> It will be good for those servants whose master finds them ready, even if he\ncomes in the middle of the night or toward daybreak.\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>39<\/b><\/font>\nBut understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what hour the\nthief was coming, he would not have let his house be broken into. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>40<\/b><\/font> You also must\nbe ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect\nhim.\u201d\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sermon from St Andrews Church, Slip End, UK.
