Recorded on the 6\/11\/22. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/archive.org\/embed\/061122\" width=\"500\" height=\"30\" frameborder=\"0\" webkitallowfullscreen=\"true\" mozallowfullscreen=\"true\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n\n\n\n<p>Download Mp3\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/archive.org\/download\/061122\/061122.mp3\">HERE!<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sermon starts at 2.12<\/p>\n\n\n\n<font color=\"red\">Luke 20 v 27-38\t\n<br><br>\nThe Resurrection and Marriage<\/font>\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>27<\/b><\/font>\u00a0Some of the Sadducees,\u00a0who say there is no resurrection,\u00a0came to Jesus with a question.\u00a0\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>28<\/b><\/font>\u00a0\u201cTeacher,\u201d they said, \u201cMoses wrote for us that if a man\u2019s brother dies and leaves a wife but no children, the man must marry the widow and raise up offspring for his brother.\u00a0\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>29<\/b><\/font>\u00a0Now there were seven brothers. The first one married a woman and died childless.\u00a0\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>30<\/b><\/font>\u00a0The second\u00a0\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>31<\/b><\/font>\u00a0and then the third married her, and in the same way the seven died, leaving no children.\u00a0\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>32<\/b><\/font>\u00a0Finally, the woman died too.\u00a0\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>33<\/b><\/font>\u00a0Now then, at the resurrection whose wife will she be, since the seven were married to her?\u201d\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>34<\/b><\/font>\u00a0Jesus replied,\u00a0\u201cThe people of this age marry and are given in marriage.\u00a0\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>35<\/b><\/font>\u00a0But those who are considered worthy of taking part in the age to come\u00a0and in the resurrection from the dead will neither marry nor be given in marriage,\u00a0\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>36<\/b><\/font>\u00a0and they can no longer die; for they are like the angels. They are God\u2019s children,\u00a0since they are children of the resurrection.\u00a0\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>37<\/b><\/font>\u00a0But in the account of the burning bush, even Moses showed that the dead rise, for he calls the Lord \u2018the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.\u2019\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>38<\/b><\/font>\u00a0He is not the God of the dead, but of the living, for to him all are alive.\u201d\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sermon from St Andrews Church, Slip End, UK.
