But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be\nmade salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out\nand trampled underfoot.\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>14<\/b><\/font> \u201cYou are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be\nhidden. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>15<\/b><\/font> Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they\nput it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>16<\/b><\/font> In the same\nway, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and\nglorify your Father in heaven.\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>17<\/b><\/font> \u201cDo not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not\ncome to abolish them but to fulfil them. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>18<\/b><\/font> For truly I tell you, until heaven and\nearth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by\nany means disappear from the Law until everything is\naccomplished. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>19<\/b><\/font> Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these\ncommands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom\nof heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called\ngreat in the kingdom of heaven. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>20<\/b><\/font> For I tell you that unless your righteousness\nsurpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly\nnot enter the kingdom of heaven.\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sermon from St Andrews Church, Slip End, UK.
