Unfortunately the reading was not recorded and the first couple of minutes are missing from the sermon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/iframe>\n\n\n\n<p>Download Mp3 <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.org\/download\/300624\/300624.mp3\">HERE!<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sermon starts at 0:00<\/p>\n\n\n\n<font color=\"red\">Mark 5 v 21-43\n<br><br>\nJesus Raises a Dead Girl and Heals a Sick Woman<\/font>\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>21<\/b><\/font> When Jesus had again crossed over by boat to the other side of the lake, a\nlarge crowd gathered round him while he was by the lake. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>22<\/b><\/font> Then one of the\nsynagogue leaders, named Jairus, came, and when he saw Jesus, he fell at\nhis feet. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>23<\/b><\/font> He pleaded earnestly with him, \u2018My little daughter is dying. Please\ncome and put your hands on her so that she will be healed and live.\u2019 \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>24<\/b><\/font> So\nJesus went with him. A large crowd followed and pressed round him. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>25<\/b><\/font> And a woman was there\nwho had been subject to bleeding for twelve years. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>26<\/b><\/font> She had suffered a great\ndeal under the care of many doctors and had spent all she had, yet instead of\ngetting better she grew worse. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>27<\/b><\/font> When she heard about Jesus, she came up\nbehind him in the crowd and touched his cloak, \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>28<\/b><\/font> because she thought, \u2018If I\njust touch his clothes, I will be healed.\u2019 \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>29<\/b><\/font> Immediately her bleeding stopped\nand she felt in her body that she was freed from her suffering.\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>30 <\/b><\/font>At once Jesus realised that power had gone out from him. He turned round\nin the crowd and asked, \u2018Who touched my clothes?\u2019\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>31<\/b><\/font> \u2018You see the people crowding against you,\u2019 his disciples answered, \u2018and yet\nyou can ask, \u201cWho touched me?\u201d\u2019\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>32<\/b><\/font> But Jesus kept looking around to see who had done it. 33 Then the woman,\nknowing what had happened to her, came and fell at his feet and, trembling\nwith fear, told him the whole truth. 34 He said to her, \u2018Daughter, your faith has\nhealed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.\u2019\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>35<\/b><\/font> While Jesus was still speaking, some people came from the house of Jairus,\nthe synagogue leader. \u2018Your daughter is dead,\u2019 they said. \u2018Why bother the\nteacher anymore?\u2019\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>36<\/b><\/font> Overhearing what they said, Jesus told him, \u2018Don\u2019t be afraid; just believe.\u2019\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>37<\/b><\/font> He did not let anyone follow him except Peter, James and John the brother\nof James. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>38<\/b><\/font> When they came to the home of the synagogue leader, Jesus saw\na commotion, with people crying and wailing loudly. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>39<\/b><\/font> He went in and said to\nthem, \u2018Why all this commotion and wailing? The child is not dead but\nasleep.\u2019 \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>40<\/b><\/font> But they laughed at him.\nAfter he put them all out, he took the child\u2019s father and mother and the\ndisciples who were with him, and went in where the child was. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>41<\/b><\/font> He took her\nby the hand and said to her, \u2018Talitha koum!\u2019 (which means \u2018Little girl, I say to\nyou, get up!\u2019). \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>42<\/b><\/font> Immediately the girl stood up and began to walk around (she\nwas twelve years old).
