Given Rev Lindsey Moss on Safe Guarding Sunday 2025<\/p>\n\n\n\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/archive.org\/embed\/231125\" width=\"500\" height=\"30\" frameborder=\"0\" webkitallowfullscreen=\"true\" mozallowfullscreen=\"true\" allowfullscreen=\"\"><\/iframe>\n\n\n\n<p>Download Mp3&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/archive.org\/download\/231125\/231125.mp3\">HERE!<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sermon starts at 3:19<\/p>\n\n\n\n<font color=\"red\">Jeremiah 23 v 1-6 \n<br><br>\nThe Righteous Branch<\/font>\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>1<\/b><\/font> \u201cWoe to the shepherds who are destroying and scattering the sheep of my pasture!\u201d declares the Lord. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>2<\/b><\/font> Therefore this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says to the shepherds who tend my people: \u201cBecause you have scattered my flock and driven them away and have not bestowed care on them, I will bestow punishment on you for the evil you have done,\u201d declares the Lord. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>3<\/b><\/font> \u201cI myself will gather the remnant of my flock out of all the countries where I have driven them and will bring them back to their pasture, where they will be fruitful and increase in number. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>4<\/b><\/font> I will place shepherds over them who will tend them, and they will no longer be afraid or terrified, nor will any be missing,\u201d declares the Lord.\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>5<\/b><\/font> \u201cThe days are coming,\u201d declares the Lord,\n    \u201cwhen I will raise up for David a righteous Branch,\na King who will reign wisely\n    and do what is just and right in the land.\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>6<\/b><\/font> In his days Judah will be saved<br>\n    and Israel will live in safety.<br>\nThis is the name by which he will be called:<br>\n    The Lord Our Righteous Savior.<br>\n<br><br><br>\n\n\n\n<font color=\"red\">John 18 v 33-37 <\/font>\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>33<\/b><\/font> Pilate then went back inside the palace, summoned Jesus and asked him, \u201cAre you the king of the Jews?\u201d\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>34<\/b><\/font> \u201cIs that your own idea,\u201d Jesus asked, \u201cor did others talk to you about me?\u201d\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>35<\/b><\/font> \u201cAm I a Jew?\u201d Pilate replied. \u201cYour own people and chief priests handed you over to me. What is it you have done?\u201d\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>36<\/b><\/font> Jesus said, \u201cMy kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jewish leaders. But now my kingdom is from another place.\u201d\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>37<\/b><\/font> \u201cYou are a king, then!\u201d said Pilate.\n<br><br>\nJesus answered, \u201cYou say that I am a king. In fact, the reason I was born and came into the world is to testify to the truth.
