You have said, \u2018I know you by name and you have found favor with me.\u2019 \n<br><br> \n<font color=\"blue\"><b>13<\/b><\/font> If you are pleased with me, teach me your ways so I may know you and continue to find favor with you. Remember that this nation is your people.\u201d\n<br><br> \n<font color=\"blue\"><b>14<\/b><\/font> The Lord replied, \u201cMy Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.\u201d\n<br><br> \n<font color=\"blue\"><b>15<\/b><\/font> Then Moses said to him, \u201cIf your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here. \n<br><br> \n<font color=\"blue\"><b>16<\/b><\/font> How will anyone know that you are pleased with me and with your people unless you go with us? What else will distinguish me and your people from all the other people on the face of the earth?\u201d\n<br><br> \n<font color=\"blue\"><b>17<\/b><\/font> And the Lord said to Moses, \u201cI will do the very thing you have asked, because I am pleased with you and I know you by name.\u201d\n<br><br> \n<font color=\"blue\"><b>18<\/b><\/font> Then Moses said, \u201cNow show me your glory.\u201d\n<br><br> \n<font color=\"blue\"><b>19<\/b><\/font> And the Lord said, \u201cI will cause all my goodness to pass in front of you, and I will proclaim my name, the Lord, in your presence. I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. \n<br><br> \n<font color=\"blue\"><b>20<\/b><\/font> But,\u201d he said, \u201cyou cannot see my face, for no one may see me and live.\u201d\n<br><br> \n<font color=\"blue\"><b>21<\/b><\/font> Then the Lord said, \u201cThere is a place near me where you may stand on a rock. \n<br><br> \n<font color=\"blue\"><b>22<\/b><\/font> When my glory passes by, I will put you in a cleft in the rock and cover you with my hand until I have passed by. \n<br><br> \n<font color=\"blue\"><b>23<\/b><\/font> Then I will remove my hand and you will see my back; but my face must not be seen.\u201d\n<br><br> <br>\n\n<font color=\"red\">Matthew 22 v 15-22\n<br><br> \nPaying the Imperial Tax to Caesar<\/font>\n<br><br> \n<font color=\"blue\"><b>15<\/b><\/font> Then the Pharisees went out and laid plans to trap him in his words. \n<br><br> \n<font color=\"blue\"><b>16<\/b><\/font> They sent their disciples to him along with the Herodians. \u201cTeacher,\u201d they said, \u201cwe know that you are a man of integrity and that you teach the way of God in accordance with the truth. You aren\u2019t swayed by others, because you pay no attention to who they are. \n<br><br> \n<font color=\"blue\"><b>17<\/b><\/font> Tell us then, what is your opinion? Is it right to pay the imperial tax to Caesar or not?\u201d\n<br><br> \n<font color=\"blue\"><b>18<\/b><\/font> But Jesus, knowing their evil intent, said, \u201cYou hypocrites, why are you trying to trap me? \n<br><br> \n<font color=\"blue\"><b>19<\/b><\/font> Show me the coin used for paying the tax.\u201d They brought him a denarius, \n<br><br> \n<font color=\"blue\"><b>20<\/b><\/font> and he asked them, \u201cWhose image is this? And whose inscription?\u201d\n<br><br> \n<font color=\"blue\"><b>21<\/b><\/font> \u201cCaesar\u2019s,\u201d they replied.\n<br><br> \n &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Then he said to them, \u201cSo give back to Caesar what is Caesar\u2019s, and to God what is God\u2019s.\u201d\n<br><br> \n<font color=\"blue\"><b>22<\/b><\/font> When they heard this, they were amazed.
