Doesn\u2019t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it?  <br><br> <font color=\"blue\"><strong>5<\/strong><\/font> And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders  <br><br> <font color=\"blue\"><strong>6<\/strong><\/font> and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, \u2018Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.\u2019  <br><br> <font color=\"blue\"><strong>7<\/strong><\/font> I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent. <br><br> <font color=\"red\">The Parable of the Lost Coin<\/font> <br><br> <font color=\"blue\"><strong>8<\/strong><\/font> \u201cOr suppose a woman has ten silver coins and loses one. Doesn\u2019t she light a lamp, sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it?  <br><br> <font color=\"blue\"><strong>9<\/strong><\/font> And when she finds it, she calls her friends and neighbors together and says, \u2018Rejoice with me; I have found my lost coin.\u2019  <br><br> <font color=\"blue\"><strong>10<\/strong><\/font> In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sermon from St Andrews Church given by our vicar Rev\u2019 Cathy Pullinger on the 8\/9\/19 entitled \u201cThe Parable Of The Lost Sheep\u201d.
