Come; buy wine and milk without money and without cost. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>2<\/b><\/font>  Why\nspend money on what is not bread, and your labour on what does not satisfy?\nListen, listen to me, and eat what is good, and you will delight in the richest of fare.\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>3<\/b><\/font>  Give ear and come to me; listen, that you may live. I will make an everlasting\ncovenant with you, my faithful love promised to David. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>4<\/b><\/font>  See, I have made him a\nwitness to the peoples, a ruler and commander of the peoples. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>5<\/b><\/font>  Surely you will\nsummon nations you know not, and nations you do not know will come running to\nyou, because of the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, for he has endowed you\nwith splendour.\u201d\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>6<\/b><\/font>  Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>7<\/b><\/font>  Let the wicked\nforsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts. Let them turn to the Lord, and\nhe will have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will freely pardon. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>8<\/b><\/font>  \u201cFor my\n\nthoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,\u201d declares the Lord.\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>9<\/b><\/font>  \u201cAs the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways\nand my thoughts than your thoughts.\n\n<br><br><br>\n\n<font color=\"red\">Luke 13 v 1-9<\/font>\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>1<\/b><\/font>  Now there were some present at that time who told Jesus about the Galileans\nwhose blood Pilate had mixed with their sacrifices. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>2<\/b><\/font>  Jesus answered, \u201cDo you think\nthat these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans because they\nsuffered this way? \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>3<\/b><\/font>  I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>4<\/b><\/font>  Or\n\nthose eighteen who died when the tower in Siloam fell on them\u2014do you think they\nwere more guilty than all the others living in Jerusalem? \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>5<\/b><\/font>  I tell you, no! But unless\nyou repent, you too will all perish.\u201d\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>6<\/b><\/font>  Then he told this parable: \u201cA man had a fig tree growing in his vineyard, and he\nwent to look for fruit on it but did not find any. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>7<\/b><\/font>  So he said to the man who took care\nof the vineyard, \u2018For three years now I\u2019ve been coming to look for fruit on this fig tree\nand haven\u2019t found any. Cut it down! Why should it use up the soil?\u2019\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>8<\/b><\/font>  \u201c\u2018Sir,\u2019 the man replied, \u2018leave it alone for one more year, and I\u2019ll dig around it and\nfertilize it. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>9<\/b><\/font>  If it bears fruit next year, fine!
