You believe in God; believe also in me. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\">2<\/b><\/font> My\nFather\u2019s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am\ngoing there to prepare a place for you? \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\">3<\/b><\/font> And if I go and prepare a place for you, I\nwill come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\">4<\/b><\/font> You\nknow the way to the place where I am going.\u201d\n<br><br><br>\n<font color=\"red\">Jesus the Way to the Father<\/font>\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\">5<\/b><\/font> Thomas said to him, \u201cLord, we don\u2019t know where you are going, so how can we\nknow the way?\u201d \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\">6<\/b><\/font> Jesus answered, \u201cI am the way and the truth and the life. No one\ncomes to the Father except through me. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\">7<\/b><\/font> If you really know me, you will know my\nFather as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.\u201d\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\">8<\/b><\/font> Philip said, \u201cLord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.\u201d\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\">9<\/b><\/font> Jesus answered: \u201cDon\u2019t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you\nsuch a long time?\nAnyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, \u2018Show us the\nFather\u2019? \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\">10<\/b><\/font> Don\u2019t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in\nme? The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the\nFather, living in me, who is doing his work. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\">11<\/b><\/font> Believe me when I say that I am in the\nFather and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the works\nthemselves.\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\">12<\/b><\/font> Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been\ndoing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the\nFather. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\">13<\/b><\/font> And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be\nglorified in the Son. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\">14<\/b><\/font> You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.\n<br><br>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Todays sermon was given by our priest in charge Rev Nick Mwandia on the fifth Sunday of Easter, 7th May 2023.
