If you answer me, I will tell you by\nwhat authority I am doing these things. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>25<\/b><\/font> John\u2019s baptism\u2014where did it come from?\nWas it from heaven, or of human origin?\u201d<br>\nThey discussed it among themselves and said, \u201cIf we say, \u2018From heaven,\u2019 he will\nask, \u2018Then why didn\u2019t you believe him?\u2019 \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>26<\/b><\/font> But if we say, \u2018Of human origin\u2019\u2014we are\nafraid of the people, for they all hold that John was a prophet.\u201d\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>27<\/b><\/font> So they answered Jesus, \u201cWe don\u2019t know.\u201d\nThen he said, \u201cNeither will I tell you by what authority I am doing these things.\n<br><br><br>\n\n<font color=\"red\">The Parable of the Two Sons<\/font>\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>28<\/b><\/font> \u201cWhat do you think? There was a man who had two sons. He went to the first and\nsaid, \u2018Son, go and work today in the vineyard.\u2019\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>29<\/b><\/font> \u201c\u2018I will not,\u2019 he answered, but later he changed his mind and went.\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>30<\/b><\/font> \u201cThen the father went to the other son and said the same thing. He answered, \u2018I\nwill, sir,\u2019 but he did not go.\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>31<\/b><\/font> \u201cWhich of the two did what his father wanted?\u201d\n\u201cThe first,\u201d they answered.\nJesus said to them, \u201cTruly I tell you, the tax collectors and the prostitutes are\nentering the kingdom of God ahead of you. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>32<\/b><\/font> For John came to you to show you the\nway of righteousness, and you did not believe him, but the tax collectors and the\nprostitutes did.
