There he was transfigured before\nthem. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>3<\/b><\/font> His clothes became dazzling white, whiter than anyone in the world\ncould bleach them. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>4<\/b><\/font> And there appeared before them Elijah and Moses, who\nwere talking with Jesus.\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>5<\/b><\/font> Peter said to Jesus, \u201cRabbi, it is good for us to be here. Let us put up three\nshelters\u2014one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah.\u201d \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>6<\/b><\/font> (He did not know\nwhat to say, they were so frightened.)\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>7<\/b><\/font> Then a cloud appeared and covered them, and a voice came from the\ncloud: \u201cThis is my Son, whom I love. Listen to him!\u201d\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>8<\/b><\/font> Suddenly, when they looked around, they no longer saw anyone with them\nexcept Jesus.\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>9<\/b><\/font> As they were coming down the mountain, Jesus gave them orders not to tell\nanyone what they had seen until the Son of Man had risen from the dead.<br><br>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Todays sermon was given by our reader Julie Taylor with the sermong entitled \u2018The Transfiguration\u2019.
