He also poured out the coins of the moneychangers\nand overturned their tables. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>16<\/b><\/font> He told those who were selling the doves,\n\u2018Take these things out of here! Stop making my Father\u2019s house a market-place!\u2019\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>17<\/b><\/font> His disciples remembered that it was written, \u2018Zeal for your house will consume\nme.\u2019 \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>18<\/b><\/font> The Jews then said to him, \u2018What sign can you show us for doing\nthis?\u2019 \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>19<\/b><\/font> Jesus answered them, \u2018Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it\nup.\u2019\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>20<\/b><\/font> The Jews then said, \u2018This temple has been under construction for forty-six years,\nand will you raise it up in three days?\u2019 \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>21<\/b><\/font> But he was speaking of the temple of his\nbody.\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>22<\/b><\/font> After he was raised from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this;\nand they believed the scripture and the word that Jesus had spoken.<br><br>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Todays sermon was given by our priest in charge the Rev Nick Mwandia on the 3rd Sunday of Lent, 3rd March 2024.
