For no one could\nperform the signs you are doing if God were not with him.\u2019\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>3<\/b><\/font> Jesus replied, \u2018Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God\nunless they are born again.\u2019\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>4<\/b><\/font> \u2018How can someone be born when they are old?\u2019 Nicodemus asked. \u2018Surely\nthey cannot enter a second time into their mother\u2019s womb to be born!\u2019\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>5<\/b><\/font> Jesus answered, \u2018Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God\nunless they are born of water and the Spirit. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>6<\/b><\/font> Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the\nSpirit gives birth to spirit. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>7<\/b><\/font> You should not be surprised at my saying,\n\u201cYou must be born again.\u201d \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>8<\/b><\/font> The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its\nsound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is\nwith everyone born of the Spirit.\u2019\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>9<\/b><\/font> \u2018How can this be?\u2019 Nicodemus asked.\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>10<\/b><\/font> \u2018You are Israel\u2019s teacher,\u2019 said Jesus, \u2018and do you not understand these\nthings? \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>11<\/b><\/font> Very truly I tell you, we speak of what we know, and we testify to\nwhat we have seen, but still you people do not accept our testimony. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>12<\/b><\/font> I have\nspoken to you of earthly things and you do not believe; how then will you\nbelieve if I speak of heavenly things? \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>13<\/b><\/font> No one has ever gone into heaven\nexcept the one who came from heaven \u2013 the Son of Man. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>14<\/b><\/font> Just as Moses\nlifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted\nup, \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>15<\/b><\/font> that everyone who believes may have eternal life in him.\u2019\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>16<\/b><\/font> For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever\nbelieves in him shall not perish but have eternal life. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>17<\/b><\/font> For God did not send\nhis Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through\nhim.<br><br>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today&#8217;s sermon was given by our reader Julie Taylor on Trinity Sunday, 26th May 2024.
