A man scatters seed on the\nground. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>27<\/b><\/font> Night and day, whether he sleeps or gets up, the seed sprouts and grows,\nthough he does not know how. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>28<\/b><\/font> All by itself the soil produces grain\u2014first the stalk,\nthen the head, then the full kernel in the head. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>29<\/b><\/font> As soon as the grain is ripe, he\nputs the sickle to it, because the harvest has come.\u201d\n<br><br><br>\n\n<font color=\"red\">The Parable of the Mustard Seed<\/font>\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>30<\/b><\/font> Again he said, \u201cWhat shall we say the kingdom of God is like, or what parable\nshall we use to describe it? \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>31<\/b><\/font> It is like a mustard seed, which is the smallest of all\nseeds on earth. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>32<\/b><\/font> Yet when planted, it grows and becomes the largest of all garden\nplants, with such big branches that the birds can perch in its shade.\u201d\n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>33<\/b><\/font> With many similar parables Jesus spoke the word to them, as much as they could\nunderstand. \n<br><br>\n<font color=\"blue\"><b>34<\/b><\/font> He did not say anything to them without using a parable.
