Slip End Tennis Club
Slip End Tennis Club was formed in 1987 and is affiliated to the Beds Lawn Tennis Association. The Club has two hard courts, with floodlights at Slip End Playing Fields, Church Road, Slip End.
It is a small friendly club with approx. 80 members. Current costs for new members are: Adult £40 Family £70 Junior £17.50 (Up to age 16)
The Club has a Men’s team in the South Beds Tennis League. Club members have priority in the use of courts, except when either matches are to be played or coaching taking place.
Members are requested to play either one set or half an hour, whichever is the shorter, if others are waiting to play.
Club night is on Monday evenings from 7.0pm and Sunday mornings from 10.0am, to which all members are welcome. Coaching is provided by our LTA coach, Sally Parry. Adults Tuesdays 12.0-1.0pm and 6.30-7.30pm also 12.0-1.0pm on Fridays. Members £7 and Non-Members £8 per session. Ladies and private coaching are also available. Give Sally a call (07979 433688)
