Slip End Tennis Club

Slip End Tennis Club was founded in 1987 and plays at the Playing Fields adjacent to St Andrews Parish Church in Church Road, Slip End. It is affiliated to the Beds Lawn Tennis Association. There are two hard courts with floodlights.

It is a small friendly club with approx. 80 members. Current costs for new members are: Adult £35 and Family £60. Junior £15 (Up to age 16)
Club members have priority in the use of courts, except when either matches are to be played or coaching taking place.

Club night is on Monday evenings from 7.00pm and Sunday mornings from 10.00am, to which all members are welcome. Coaching is provided by our LTA coach, Sally Parry. Adults Tuesdays 12.00-1.00pm and 6.30-7.30pm also 12.00-1.00pm on Fridays. Juniors 6-8 years 4.30-5.15pm. on Mondays and other Juniors 4.45-5.45pm on Fridays. Members £6 and Non-Members £7 per session.

The Club has a Men’s team in the South Beds Tennis League. Home matches and coaching take priority over other playing.
